We had purchased a cheaper unit from Amazon, and it disappointed. It would provide 3 bars max when it worked. This booster though is fantastic. We no longer have to keep running upstairs to take a call. I haven't had any issues yet.

I was just on the edge of the range for it unfortunately, and it didn't quite pick up the signal. It should work great if you are close to a tower to boost your signal.
I have to say this device is a life saver. Now, I have superb phone call quality, and my internet connection is as strong as it gets. I can send and receive emails anytime. Thumbs up!
I've found the signal booster very helpful in giving me a better signal at home.
I live in an area that is a dead zone for cell phones. Without this booster, we get no signal strength at all on our cells inside our home, and only rarely get 1 bar of signal strength outside the house. Even then the signal will usually not last long enough to complete a call. I initially set up this booster indoors temporarily and was surprised to see that we immediately went from zero signal strength to 3 bars. Installed properly outside we get full strength coverage almost all of the time.
