I paid full price for this on a whim. I stay at a campground where there is no service for any carrier. If I put my phone in my camper right up to one of the windows in the fifth wheel bedroom I can sometimes get 3G one bar. I hooked up the antenna and aimed it towards a tower 6 miles from me and placed antenna in the closet on a shelf in bedroom. I ran the coax under the camper to the opposite end about 38 feet away and ran the cable up into the kitchen area where I mounted the main box on the wall. I placed the indoor black mini antenna about 2 feet away in the counter. Turned it all on and had solid 4 green bars. I looked on my phone and had 4 bars of LTE on EE and was about 10 feet away from antenna. I went out front about 40 feet away and still had 2 bars of LTE service! I made my first call and it was solid. My Speedtest showed 8.6mbps down and 1.8mbps upload speeds. For the first time in 4 years I no longer need a home phone and can make calls on my cell without slow wifi calling and use the internet without wifi here!!!!
My network was never really that bad but I had needed them to be faster because I was teaching myself how to code using online tutorials some which were hours long. Works well, but doesn't always provide signal. Mauve with a better antenna you could continue to get 4g or 3g instead of no signal in some locations. For the cost, I expected better
